I sat there, my face buried in my arms. It felt as if... tears were on my face. I didn't know why, but it felt like it.

I sat there on the branch, my eyes wide open. The aroma of blood filled the air, and it had awoken me. My right eye grew flaming red, while the left side was still a pale blue.

I took his hand and tried to feel for a pulse, but nothing. I stared at him, shocked. I didn't tear up though, nor did I cry, I just stood up, and did nothing at all.
